WELCOME TO TEAM EPILEPSY FORWARD
The aim of our team is to inspire young people with Epilepsy, to believe that just because they can't drive, doesn't mean that they will lose their independence. We figure finishing the RAAM by cycling 3000 miles across America, is a pretty convincing way of proving the point.

First Aid for Epilepsy
Here is a quick guide to how to help somebody who you suspect or know is having a seizure:
- stay calm and talk in calm reassuring tones
- try and move the person away from any danger such as roads or sharp objects
- if possible put something soft such as a jacket underneath their head
- DO NOT restrain them or put anything near their mouth
- stay with them until they recover from the seizure
Phone 999 if:
The seizure lasts longer than 5 mins, you believe it to be their first seizure, one fit directly follows another, they have injured themselves or have trouble breathing.
